Remove "Image Needed" Catagory edit

This page already contains an image of the product, and I'm wondering why it still says it needs an image. Should I add a new image or just remove the banner?

Musicmatch Designation edit

I do not know how this got pass me but should the supplied Musicmatch software really qualify as third-party software? Considering Musicmatch is readily available for download on their own site and the only difference between the "Dell" supplied version is the "Dell" logo appearing in the top left, perhaps it would be best to move the Musicmatch details to the "third-party section".--Kevin586 17:41, August 14, 2005 (UTC)

It was just today or yesterday that Dell announced the death of its Hard drive based players. Can someone put that up? - The preceding unsigned comment was added by Maluze (talk • contribs) .

I have added an {{update}} template to reflect your concern. Feel free to take a stab at it. I will try to work on it later. - Thanks, Hoshie |   11:59, 7 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

wonder edit

i wonder if my dj ditty can play itunes

To the best of my knowledge, No. Itunes software is will not recognize anything but Ipod devices. Additionally, the proprietary *.AAC format used in Itunes is not compatible with Dell Jukebox playback software.--Caesius 21:25, 28 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
Here's some products without "ipod" in their name:

Additionally, Playfair can make the DRM "fair" and thus compatible.
Here's a program that allows Itunes to sync with the Apple Newton

And trust me there are even more plugins or utilities for Itunes to let you sync players not named "Ipod".

Dell DJ Satellite Reference edit

I am seriously considering eliminating the information regarding the release of Dell DJ satatellite citing is ambigious "Dell Rep" source. Can someone else find anymore information to back-up the claim that the Dell DJ Satellite will be released after all?--Kenn Caesius 19:49, 10 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Contradiction edit

We major editors really to discuss the claim that the Dell Jukebox Satellite will be released soon. The article starts mentioning the quote that "there will be no follow-up product" to the Dell DJ series and ends with the claim that some Dell representative says during some online chat the Dell DJ satellite will be released soon or in time for the holidays of 2006.

Considering the content seems to be added by the same anonymous and unregistered user, that perfoming several online searches mention nothing of the Dell DJ Satellite beyond its introduction in 2005, and the current state of affairs of the Dell Corporation, I seriously doubt it will ever be released.--Kenn Caesius 20:56, 12 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Dell DJ Question edit

Question to anyone who has ever owned a DJ 20. When I bought my DJ years ago, I remember it came with four songs already on the player. One was My Sweet Annette by the Drive By Truckers. Can anyone else help me remember what the other three were? I lost all the songs on my player after one very tragic fall (surprised the thing didn't go to MP3 heaven with all those ipods right then and there).
