The Delaware Technical Community College, Stanton Gymnasium article was blanked on 2024-04-12 and that title now redirects to Delaware Technical Community College. The contents of the former article are available in the redirect's history; for the discussion at that location, see the redirect's talk page. |
College Changed Name
editThe college has officially dropped the ampersand from their name. This has been part of a big campaign inside the college and is referenced in a branding manual https://content.dtcc.edu/branding/docs/branding-standards-manual-v1.0.pdf. I'm going to submit a page move request based on this info. I would also like to update the page with the college's new logo and (their existing) college seal.
Untitled
editThe college actually prefers 'Delaware Tech' as opposed to 'DelTech'. There is also a votech high school near the Stanton campus which is commonly confused when 'DelTech' is used. Therefor, I think that it should be omitted. I have a feeling the original author is near one of the southern campuses and may not be aware of this. Because the college is spread across the state, it is probably referred to differently in the different counties.
Need more info..
editI'm trying to fill in this article. I'm still new to writing/editing articles, so hopefully I'm following the right format. I happen to work at Delaware Tech, so I'm going to ask some people there for statistics and maybe a list of famous Delaware Tech graduates.

The section on the History of DelTech has the following: "The Southern Campus was the first to open in September 1967 with 350 students, and renamed as the Jack F. Owens campus in May of 2008." It is only Feb. 2008 as I write this, & it has been call the Owens Campus since at least 2004 when my brother attended there. someone with the right date need to fix this. Also, it is OK to refer to it as Del Tech. There own website does so. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.200.168.35 (talk) 07:57, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

editNo mention of the fact that a character in the Hitchcock classic is a professor at Delaware Tech? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.225.86.138 (talk) 11:48, 2 February 2013 (UTC)
