Hey, there really is no such thing as a fish, according to cladistics. Not unless we are fish, which gives extra point to the regretfully deleted assertion that neither fish nor we exist.

But seriously, folks, most extreme? Gimme a break. That's more unique than something that's a little bit infinite. Or, as a Disney short asserted many years ago, "This factory [for curling stones] is so unique that there is only one other in the world."

More seriously yet: I re-arrangeded the items in the lead sentence for a reason: Isopods are Crustaceans. Look it up. Hence, including them after "and various invertebrates" is badly misleading if not just plain wrong. Sheesh, what do I care about abyssal gigantism, anyway? Dandrake 00:46, Sep 15, 2004 (UTC)

Fish?

Sorry to raise another fish question, but if this phenomenon affects invertibrates but explicitly not fish, why is the oarfish one of our examples? --Iustinus 02:42, 12 October 2005 (UTC)
