This page looks like vanity publishing. I would like to think it isnt as it puts this woman in a poor position as there appears to be very few editors interested in her article and her books.... and those people do not edit any other articles (What is the effect on their literacy of editting these articles?). This makers it appear that this "globally important" woman cannot find any wiki editors who want to improve her article. Can someone take an editting scythe to the book articles??? The Grawemeyer Award is THE major award in education, and has been called the Nobel Prize for Education is accompanied by a $100,000. Her book Literacy in American Lives has been extremely influential in Rhetoric and Composition and currently has over 1200 citations listed on Google Scholar. She has also been awarded the CCCC Exemplar award which is a lifetime achievement award.
