Untitled edit
The David Callahan listed here as a Councillor for Hawkinge is not the author of the same name. So said the article, until I removed it just now. I have no idea what it means by "here." Anyone? --zenohockey 06:24, 2 January 2006 (UTC)

I believe that the thesis of the book the Moral Center, as currently stated, to be wrong (I read the book). --Unintelligible 21:44, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
Article Cleaned Up and Correct edit
The article does indeed refer to the correct David Callahan, and the thesis of "The Moral Center" matches the New York Times' description of it. Most previously missing citations for the page have also been added. Rhiltons (talk) 21:29, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
- I was just reading a post that David Callahan wrote, which I followed to his Amazon book, thus here. I'm going to change some things in the article. Callahan's father is distinguished with PhD, but it is in philosophy not medicine. I wouldn't call him a healthcare expert, even as a member of NLM. He is certainly a bioethicist, etc.
- Also, this entire BLP reads too much like an advertisement. I don't want to rewrite it, as I don't want to erroneously diminish this young man's accomplishments. There should be some mention of his more recent book, "Fortunes of Change: The Rise of the Liberal Rich and the Remaking of America", with a publication date of 2010 on Amazon, though it may have been published earlier, I'm not certain. --FeralOink (talk) 07:42, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
Article problems edit
There's too much verbiage in the "Publications" section cited only to the books themselves. I'm going to try to clean out anything that doesn't have independent citations, and then place the full list of the books in a standard "Bibliography" or "Books" section -- rather than as a prominent section of the References/Citations (which is basically like having two whole sections on his books). OK, I've done the above, and cleaned out the rest of the bloat in that section as well. I've also cleaned up and checked the rest of the article. It no longer seems to bear the massive effects of the COI editing that occurred. In addition, most of the citations are secondary sources now. Therefore I will remove those two templates at the top of the article. Stophorus (talk) 09:52, 24 August 2022 (UTC)
