Confirmed tracks

edit

Where is proof that "Angels" is actually going to be on the album? I would love for that to be true but where is the proof? (Shannon Marie (talk) 17:34, 13 October 2008 (UTC))Reply

Yea there is. It came up in an interview. I post a lot on Archuletafans.com so I'm sure someone there can link me, then I'll cite it! --GBVrallyCI (talk) 22:41, 14 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Oh, thanks! But all of a sudden, "Angels", "My Hands", "Touch My Hand", and "Ruined Me" are gone. What happened?(Shannon Marie (talk) 19:31, 17 October 2008 (UTC))Reply

Please see my edit summary for this edit [1] as to why the songs were removed: "Removed source that does not confirm album title and unsourced confirmed tracks." The songs are listed in a section called "Confirmed tracks" where there are zero sources to show they are confirmed tracks. Also you added back the source I removed that claims to confirm the album title but does not in either the video or the article below the video. Aspects (talk) 21:44, 17 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
I have added a hidden note to the confirmed tracks section saying any song listed needs to have a reliable source to be considered "confirmed." Aspects (talk) 15:21, 18 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
And I have a hidden note saying that "My Hands", "Touch My Hand", "Ruined Me" and "Angels" are confirmed! Dang it, why is Jive keeping the who album under wraps? (Shannon Marie (talk) 02:35, 19 October 2008 (UTC))Reply
Err...where did "Desperate" come from? Is there a note or source for that? This album is gonna be killer! --GBVrallyCI (talk) 16:07, 19 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
I don't know about "Desperate", but I'm listening to "A Little Too Not Over You" right now and it's amazing! It's so 2001, which is why I like it! I'm not sure if I like it better than "Touch My Hand", though. I think "My Hands" will be his next (EPIC!) single. (Shannon Marie (talk) 16:30, 19 October 2008 (UTC))Reply

Can you guys please just talk about what could be added to the article and not have discussions about which song is better? Thanks Jraz1206ablao (talk) 17:19, 19 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Oh, so you think your in control of the disscusion page? Oh no you didn't! But I do know what should be added to the articale: some lyrics of David's song, contriversys, fan opions, and reviews. (Shannon Marie (talk) 17:55, 19 October 2008 (UTC))Reply
Well we don't really have any full lyrics with the exception of Crush, and there haven't been any controversies yet (let's hope it stays that way) and there won't be reviews until the CD comes out, so we'll probably have to wait a bit. --GBVrallyCI (talk) 20:02, 19 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

OK, calm down! I was just letting you know. I understand where you're coming from, but fan reviews and opinions shouldn't be added to the official article. Jraz1206ablao (talk) 19:27, 19 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Anyone know where "Girlfriend" came from? Jraz1206ablao (talk) 20:47, 19 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Once again, for purposes of verifiability any song listed in the Confirmed tracks sections needs a reliable source or it is not considered "confirmed." Aspects (talk) 23:33, 19 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

"Falling" was written by David himself when he was 14-15 years old. http://archuletafanscene.com/2008/11/09/falling-the-song-david-wrote/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jraz1206ablao (talkcontribs) 01:38, 11 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Other country releases

edit

anyone know if he is releasing in the UK?

Itunes

edit

Itunes can be used as a source but it would be better to use sources that are more readily verifiable. As someone pointed out Amazon.com likely will cover the same material soon. -- Banjeboi 00:32, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Reviews

edit

Can someone please post some album reviews from magazines and such? Go to david-hq.org to find the links (yes, it is a reliable site). (24.144.238.113 (talk) 00:10, 11 November 2008 (UTC))Reply

David-hq.org is actually not a reliable source but they are a relentless blog that finds other sources and interviews, videoclips, etc. that are useful:

Gay and Out

edit

My jaw dropped when this page said his 2009 album would be called Gay and Out...that is basically a hate crime (verbally/textually), unbelievable... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Spongebobelmodude (talkcontribs) 05:59, 31 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Contradiction

edit

How is this album both "teen pop" and "adult contemporary" those polar opposite never overlapping genres... Mrmoustache14 (talk) 06:12, 12 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
