"Next"

I could be wrong since Korean isn't my first language, but I think that the statement about "daum" meaning "next" should be amended. In addition to the meaning of "next", the hanja seems to mean something like many sounds. Can someone confirm this? --165.132.181.113 (talk) 13:03, 20 December 2012 (UTC)

That is correct, and it is also mentioned as meaning #1 on the corporate identity info page of Daum at http://www.daumcorp.com/DaumEng/about/ci.daum I am also not a native speaker, but I guess I will insert it since omitting it means omitting important information about the name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:638:504:20E5:6955:2C2F:B67F:78EC (talk) 09:19, 7 May 2014 (UTC)

Mentioning Naver and Nate

Currently the first sentence says: "Daum (Korean: 다음) is a web portal in South Korea, like Naver and Nate".

What does "like" mean? Is it a separate company, a competitor? If it is, it should be mentioned clearly as such. And why these too and not something else? I'm not familiar with Korean Internet culture, but there should generally be a reason for mentioning competitors. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 14:26, 30 November 2017 (UTC)
