I have moved those links from the article page per WP:LINKS - reasons are given below.

Those pages are not about Darius and are personal pages not written by authorities.

This link is broken.Rosenknospe 10:19, 31 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

This page belongs to a discussion forum, so I removed it per WP:LINKS (Links to discussion forums should be avoided)

Better screenshot

edit

I added a better screenshot of Darius, taken from the same scene (Battle of Waterloo). The existing screenshot was far too low in resolution, rather grainy, and cropped out a significant portion of Darius's face. This one should be quite a bit better while still meeting all of our fair use criteria. In keeping with Wikipedia policy on orphaned fair use images, I've marked the old screenshot (now not used in any articles) for deletion. *** Crotalus *** 20:33, 27 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank you. Hope it helps the article in the current GA review.Rosenknospe 15:00, 28 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

GA on hold

edit

Hello! This is a really excellent article, especially in terms of out-of-universe writing and citation of sources. I'm ready to pass it all except for one question: What is the purpose of the two different Darius images? They seem to be portraying the same character as represented by the same actor; I'm not sure fair use quite flies with it, but maybe there's some distinction that I don't understand. --Masamage 00:06, 8 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Both images were there when I began rewriting the article, and as I'm no image specialist I just let them be. I'm going to remove the second one. Thank you for taking the time and reviewing the article.Rosenknospe 07:21, 9 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
No problem. My advice would actually be to keep the second one; it's much clearer and more expressive. That's not a GA requirement or anything, just a thought. If you keep the first would it should probably be shrunk a bit. --Masamage 07:25, 9 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hmm, I'm no image specialist, I don't know how to shrink them and I have to time to learn this right now, so I think I'll just put the second one back and remove the first one instead. Thanks.Rosenknospe 07:29, 9 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Done. Rosenknospe 08:57, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Everything looks good. :) You pass! Congratulations. --Masamage 16:43, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
YAY! My first GA! Is that cool or what? *gigs* Thank you for fixing the image, too. I'll have to learn this, looks cool. Have a nice day. Rosenknospe 07:09, 11 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hee hee. I got my first GA about a month ago; I'm still stoked about it. :D Good luck, and let me know if you need anything else or have questions! --Masamage 07:14, 11 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Thank you, be sure I'll do. Rosenknospe 08:00, 11 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Question

edit

Shouldn't "Grayson" be hyperlinked in this article? I don't think there is an article for the character yet (not one I could find), so I understand why it's not, but maybe someone with more knowledge of the character in question or who has copies of the episodes (as I don't anymore) can make one? Normally I'd try to do this type of thing, but there is a lack of knowledge on my part about the character and I just wanted to put the idea out there. Thanks! Actually there was a Grayson article until three months ago, when I redirected it to List of Highlander characters. We couldn't keep it, because there was not enough information on Grayson to make it a GA like this one. I'm sorry about that, but I don't think we can ever restore this one, unless a heap of information (and please allow me to insist, information from reliable sources) is miraculously released. Have a nice day, Rosenknospe (talk) 07:51, 22 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

I own seasons 1-5 on special edition DVD, so some time (If I can get around to it) maybe I can access the Watcher Database on the Season One Disc and see about adding some fresh Info. --William Kayton (talk) 07:58, 20 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
