Marking System edit

Marks are given according to the 13-point marking scale indicating the performance of the pupil:

13, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 03, 00

Presumably devised by the same individual who came up with the 2,1,A,B scale for beer strength :-)

If you think the old one was bad, then you don't want to see the standard that is going to replace it:([1])
12, 10, 7, 4, 02 (pass), 00, -3
Compared to this, the old scale was absolute bliss. Valentinian T / C 23:42, 31 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Edited page to reflect the new scale, now in effect. Comparison to ETCS should probably be in a table for layout. Will someone do this ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.88.115.122 (talk) 08:51, August 26, 2007 (UTC)

Rename edit

I don't understand why this article is using the danish name Folkeskole instead of english Public School. Especially when Børnehaveklassen is using the english name Pre-school. So I would like to ask for a rename. carewolf 14:18 1st February 2007 (UTC)

Probably because 'Public school' has a meaning in the USA that differs from the meaning in other countries. There is no universality of educational establishment terminology. The only substitute for 'Folkeskole' would be a direct translation - 'folks' school' or 'peoples' school' - rather than a term that fits only some countries' Englishes but not others. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.23.117.28 (talk) 23:39, 27 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
