I think the definition of this King's name is wrong. Per the Botsworth-Toller Anglo-Saxon dictionary, "cyne-" as a prefix on a name or title means "kingly" or "royal". So the name would be something akin to "wolf-king", not "kin of wolves". "Cyn" without the extra E, is "akin to, related to".
