Assessment
editReduced to start because this is in drastic need of some reorganization and copyediting. Strongly recommend delisting from GAN since there is no cite web formatting. --Coredesat 04:56, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, I went on and failed it, for the reasons below. --Coredesat 05:06, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
Failed "good article" nomination
editThis article failed good article nomination. This is how the article, as of October 21, 2006, compares against the six good article criteria:
- 1. Well written?: Fail, needs a thorough copyedit. There is also speculation ("it could have been worse if it hit American Samoa directly").
- 2. Factually accurate?: Fail, no cite web-formatted references
- 3. Broad in coverage?: Eh, weak pass
- 4. Neutral point of view?: Pass
- 5. Article stability? Pass
- 6. Images?: Fail due to lack of organization.
When these issues are addressed, the article can be resubmitted for consideration. Thanks for your work so far. --Coredesat 05:06, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
