Talk:Cyclone (DC Comics)

New page I felt was necessary. She'll become more important as the series goes on, I'd say. I'm sure this needs work, feel free to add, correct, etc. Thomas Carson 07:13, 8 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Cyclone? edit

Should this page be moved to Cyclone (DC comics)? I was unaware that she was officially called Cyclone, as I hadn't read any interviews or anything like that. She hasn't been called it in the actual comics yet, has she? Thomas Carson 17:09, 8 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

According to solicits, she's going to take Cyclone as her codename in issue 3. So yes, this page should be renamed Cyclone (DC Comics). I will work on expanding the entry. Rajah1 02:36, 9 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'm removing the "citation needed" on the relation to the Cyclone Kids as she states in Issue 1 that her Aunt Sissy was one of the Cyclone Kids(which would stand to reason that the other Cyclone Kid, Sissy's husband, would be her uncle). The Masked Debater 02:39, 13 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

The tag was for the entire sentence, particularly the bit that refers to solicitations and future revelations. Any time a soliciation is used as a source, it should be referenced in the article. CovenantD 17:40, 13 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
And considering the various names that Kid Crusader (or whatever he's being called this week) has been assigned in previews and solicitations, I won't take Cyclone as canon until it actually appears in a comic. CovenantD 17:43, 13 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

The ultimate geek question: Maxine's SAT score of 1300 edit

So, she took the old version of the SAT, with a max score of 1600, rather than the current one, which I think has a max score of 2400? RahadyanS 13:31, 29 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Mutant? edit

Someone keeps trying to add Cyclone to the list of fictional mutants. While I understand the reasoning, there is not enough evidence that she is a mutant. It's implied that her powers may have been granted by T.O. Morrow but we don't know that for sure yet. I would say leave her off such lists until we get a full origin. Image:MaxineJSA3.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
