@E25141: I removed your addition to the lead because there's one source states this: "Many people in Colombia and Puerto Rico had Sicilian ancestry..." The other source is a travel guide thus not very reliable - see WP:RS. I removed it for WP:WEIGHT, undue weight for the lead of the article.
