I have come to notice that this article lacks certain elements, starting with a general introduction. I would, therefore, like to add an introductory sentence that briefly states the topic, followed by a succinct summary of the content of the article. I would also like to update several of the outdated data within the article, such as the number of murders within the country and the progression of crime. Furthermore, I believe there is a need to add several other sections such as drug trafficking, modern day slavery in Italy, (such as human trafficking, prostitution…) and finally also the amount of crimes perpetrated by non-Italians in the country. Moreover, I would like to analyse crimes per city rather than per region, thus showing the variety of crimes in a more precise manner.
