The result of the proposal was move.
This is the primary usage of this term, with only HMCS Corner Brook as a potential conflict. However, a simple hatnote can take care of that, as can creation of a dab page at Corner Brook (disambiguation), since the city is most likely to be the subject most sought in a search. The undisambiguated title currently points to the city article. Mindmatrix 19:10, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- Support as nominator. Mindmatrix 19:10, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- Support per CANSTYLE, the page already pointing here, and a city takes precedence over a ship. -Royalguard11(T·R!) 21:04, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- Support per CANSTYLE, with hatnote disambiguation. DigitalC (talk) 03:21, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- Support as per the naming convention. Since the HMCS Corner Brook article is not a candidate to ever to be moved to the plain Corner Brook title, it does not give rise to a need for disambiguation. The existing hatnote will suffice. Besides, the town is the primary usage, and the ship was named after the town. Skeezix1000 (talk) 13:29, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- Support as per nomination. --HJKeats (talk) 22:43, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

Population
editShould it not be made clearer in the lead that Corner Brook is actually the fifth most populated place in NL and only 2nd if you are considering metropolitan areas in NL. Current lead makes it sound like Corner Brook is second largest.--NL19931993 (talk) 00:27, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
Merge proposal
editI propose merging Latvians and Baltic Germans in Corner Brook, Newfoundland into German Canadians, Latvian Canadians, and Corner Brook. See Talk:German Canadians#Merge proposal. Arctic Circle System (talk) 05:01, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
