Merging with a different Page edit

Since this airport is no-longer referred to as the Copperbelt International Airport, I suggest that this page gets merged with the Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport page. Chils Kemptonian (talk) 19:53, 8 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Chils Kemptonian: - I've opened a discussion at Wikiproject level re the issue of the two airports and the airbase. See WT:AV#Ndola, we have a problem. Please feel free to join the discussion. Mjroots (talk) 05:47, 11 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Was the issue resolved? How should these pages be presented?

One thing we know is that there is no-longer an Airport in Zambia known by the name "Copperbelt International Airport" and as such, we should remove this page and simply indicate on the Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport page the recent changes to the Airport, such as its location.

People need to know that the "Copperbelt International Airport" and the "Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport" are not two separate airports. The City of Ndola only has one International Airport while the other one is an Airforce base.

I suggest that we do not leave these 2 pages as they are; some editing has to be done. Chils Kemptonian (talk) 10:06, 17 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
