The Small village of cookhill is a small settlement that is in the borough of Redditch in the County of Worcestershire. In the same borough group as Nearby Inkberrow, Feckenham and Astwood Bank, this area has been predonantly Conservative since the formation of the Borough Entity.

Within the Village is the Priory which has been used as the setting of a couple of films. Built by the cistercians in an area close to the cistercian abbey of Bodesley the land was provided by William Beauchamp (the Black Dog of Arden), who was also a patron of the Abbey of Bordesley where he was later buried.

Following the death of Mrs Antrobus in 2001 , (whose family had farmed the land for over 100 years) The estate was bought by Alan Neil an MFG Lawyer. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.194.228.8 (talk) 00:10, 8 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
