Torn read/write edit
The terminology for torn reads and torn writes is well-defined. For sources see:

There are a number of other sources if needed. I'm a bit surprised that articles on the topics don't exist: torn write & torn read.Smallman12q (talk) 21:43, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
