The Common Craft video "Twitter in Plain English" has been viewed over 10 million times since being published in March of 2008. This number comes from two video hosts: 1,263,000 views on YouTube, to date [1] and 8,743,552 views on dotSUB.com (which was embedded on Twitter.com for some time.) [2]

Common Craft has created a fee-based network of explanatory video producers called the "Explainer Network" [3] [4]

Common Craft was hired to make multiple custom videos for Microsoft and Google. [5]

I am the founder of Common Craft and have a COI here. There are a few updates that will keep the Common Craft page accurate. The information below is not verifiable from a third party, but is easy to verify as factual.

Further, I wrote a book (Published by Wiley) that contains a number of facts about Common Craft that I believe are useful for this entry: The Art of Explanation: Making your Ideas, Products, and Services Easier to Understand", Amazon.com, (2012)

Preface, page xxii: "Our videos have been viewed over 50 million times online and we have worked with companies such as LEGO, Intel, Google Dropbox and Microsoft to explain their products and services."

Chapter 4, page 41-42 "In 2009, we were connected with a startup called Dropbox, which was looking for a video that would explain their product." "In the fall of 2009, the Dropbox homepage was redesigned and featured our video as the main content." "According to Albert Ni, the former analytics lead at Dropbox, the video has been viewed 25 million times"

Finally, there are currently a couple of points made on my personal page that I believe are relevant here.
