XY Magazine

Biographies on Wikipedia are supposed to be objective, not a "career sales pitch." Why is there no mention of the XY photo shoot?Ryoung122 04:30, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

Career breakdown

It makes more sense to break Colton's career into "modeling" and "acting," without dates, as there is likely overlap.Ryoung122 04:44, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

Quality of Websites

Greetings,

Does anyone know if this site is an official site?

The disclaimer on the website clearly states it is a fan site and not affiliated with Haynes.--Logical Fuzz (talk) 11:20, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

File:Jackson Teen Wolf.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion

An image used in this article, File:Jackson Teen Wolf.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?
Speedy deletions at commons tend to take longer than they do on Wikipedia, so there is no rush to respond. If you feel the deletion can be contested then please do so (commons:COM:SPEEDY has further information). Otherwise consider finding a replacement image before deletion occurs.

'Cherokee'

I don't know who thought it was correct to add categories for "Cherokee actors" and "Cherokee Americans", but having a paternal great-great-great-grandmother who was "part Cherokee" does in fact, not make a person Cherokee. It makes them of vague and watered-down Cherokee descent. The categories added were disrespectful toward actual Cherokee people. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Olijven (talkcontribs) 11:36, 3 March 2014 (UTC)

The Flash

When was he actually on The Flash? I don't remember him being in the crossover episode. 66.87.112.148 (talk) 18:04, 15 December 2014 (UTC)

Colton Haynes has never appeared on The Flash. I removed it from the chart. Monsieur Gustave H. (talk) 01:43, 24 April 2015 (UTC)

Measurements

The site healthycelebs.com is being used for height/weight/etc stats. According to their 'About Us' page [healthyceleb.com/about-us/ here], it says that some of the stats are guesses. Therefore none of the measurements on that site can be considered reliable, since there is no indication which stats are or are not guesses. Will remove the stats due to this. If reliable sources can be found, then they can be readded. Though such stats seem trivial, even if he has worked at times as a model. It smacks more of teen magazines than a serious encyclopaedia. sources

I started a new section at the reliable sources noticeboard regarding two references that were recently added. You can find the discussion here. APK whisper in my ear 08:31, 27 October 2015 (UTC)

In his history section, there's a sentence about how he acted in a My Chemical Romance video in April 2007 for the song "I Don't Love You," then a sentence right after it saying literally the exact same piece of information.

Relationships

There are no citations for his relationships, which I find dubious. I've little knowledge of his pre-Arrow career, but regarding EBR specifically, there's no proof they're dating - despite their frequent IG photos together, no reputable site has reported on it, and indeed they refer to each other just as 'friends' at conventions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.67.41.202 (talk) 13:44, 7 June 2015 (UTC)

Would you please explain who EBR is for those who don't use Instagram? (at least I figured IG out... I think) I agree there should be a personal life section. RichBryan (talk) 03:49, 8 January 2016 (UTC)
Excellent point--I'm going to guess EBR means (for everyone else wondering) Emily Bett Rickards. — Joeyconnick (talk) 08:07, 10 January 2016 (UTC)

The Mirror is reporting that he's come out as gay. Include? http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/arrow-star-colton-haynes-comes-7110743 Apex156 (talk) 11:00, 14 January 2016 (UTC)

Parking the question of whether the Mirror (being a tabloid newspaper), counts as a reliable source in general, it certainly shouldn't be the sole source for a BLP claim. Anyway, given the careful use of the words apparently and seemingly, and the inverted commas around the phrase 'comes out', I don't think would be sufficient sourcing for such a claim whatever publication it was in. This is just gossip relying on an ambiguous comment by the article's subject. WJBscribe (talk) 11:48, 14 January 2016 (UTC)
