– I'm requesting this article be moved to Colossos because there is no other article with this name and it just redirects back to this article.-- Astros4477 (Talk) 19:58, 8 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

  • Comment - although it isn't very common, or strictly correct since in romanized Greek it should be kolossos, the spelling wikt:colossos for wikt:colossus (no the entry doesn't include it) is found in English books for a Greek menhir or burial monolith. Legalistically there is a case here for removing (Heide Park), and (rollercoaster) would be a better dab. In ictu oculi (talk) 01:48, 9 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose per IIO, "Colossos" should be a disambiguation page. It is a valid alternate spelling for The Colossus (of Rhodes), and there are those listed at List_of_ancient_Greek_and_Roman_monoliths -- 70.24.244.158 (talk) 04:20, 9 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
Comment: The four 'Colossos' links in List of ancient Greek and Roman monoliths point to two German articles, neither of which contains the word 'Colossos' in its title or within its text. 27.55.145.156 (talk) 05:44, 13 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose per 70.24.244.158. Colossos is a plausible typo for Colossus. Colossos should probably be pointing to the DAB page with this article remaining as is. Themeparkgc  Talk  07:36, 9 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. Colossos should be turned into a disambiguation page per above. Agree that "(rollercoaster)" would be a better disambiguator for this article. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:40, 9 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
    • @Necrothesp: If Colossos is a plausible typo for Colossus, wouldn't moving the ariticle to "Colossos (roller coaster)" still be potentially confusing when you have three other roller coasters named Colossus (1, 2, 3)? Themeparkgc  Talk  22:29, 9 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
Then evidently not, thanks. In ictu oculi (talk) 23:03, 9 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
Possibly, although Colossos, in the non-rollercoaster sense, isn't just a typo for Colossus but an acceptable alternative spelling. But I see what you're saying. -- Necrothesp (talk) 07:37, 10 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
Apologies for not noticing this. I have withdrawn my request. 27.55.145.156 (talk) 05:44, 13 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
