Misnamed article edit

This is a very confused article. First of all, the Cline shale itself is a stratigraphic unit, not a play. This article would be better named the Cline shale oil play. The Cline shale (stratigraphic unit) is sometimes called "Lower Wolfcamp" or "Wolfcamp D." Therefore, the Cline shale play can be regarded as part of the larger Wolfcamp or Wolfberry plays, but would not by itself be correctly called the "Sprayberry-Wolfcamp shale" or "Wolfberry." The Cline shale is Pennsylvanian, but the overlying Wolfcamp and Sprayberry are Permian, so that the overall Wolfcamp or Wolfberry plays are not strictly Pennsylvanian oil plays. Regards. New previously undiscovered resources USGS edit

Not sure how this should be added but probably worth including. Phil (talk) 18:31, 8 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
