Solo Career edit

I have corrected the date Ward entered Teacher training and clarified where. I have also added a paragraph break. I feel the original was unclear and didn't give sufficient note to this important period. He is listed among it Notable Teaching Staff on the North Bromsgrove High School page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Bromsgrove_High_School#Notable_alumni surfingus (talk) 18:41, 1 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Should the article title be Clifford T. Ward, as he recorded under that name? --MartinUK 11:09, 11 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Death location - check detail edit

The infobox states he died at Tenbury Wells, a place whose name I recall being mentioned in a Midlands TV news report about his death, but the page concludes saying he "entered a Kidderminster hospital" and "died there a few weeks later" (my added emphasis). Given the throughput of hospitals, it is not unfeasible he could have been moved to Tenbury for reasons of care need.Cloptonson (talk) 22:02, 28 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Mystery solved on Mick Armitage's fan site at http://www.mick-armitage.staff.shef.ac.uk/cliffordt/obituary.html. Clifford contracted pneumonia in November 2001 and was admitted to Ronkswood Hospital in Worcester. He was sent home, but later his condition worsened and he was admitted to Tenbury Community Hospital in Tenbury Wells, where he died in December. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Phil Champ (talkcontribs) 10:56, 9 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
