John Legend: Cover Version or Copyright Infringement?

Regarding the Stormy "cover" by John Legend, I heard on the radio that it was a copyright infringement and that John Legend was successfully sued by Classics IV. Are you sure it's just a (permitted) cover? Does anyone have any concrete info on this? tharsaile 19:16, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Playing drums while standing up?

The article states that Yost would stand in the front of the stage, and play drums while also singing. How many hands and feet does this guy have? Sorry, but playing drums while standing is impossible! Rock1966 03:17, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

Later career citation - or lack thereof

The first paragraph in this section needs citation. I would think it appropriate to remove that paragraph until citations are applied although I am reluctant to do so until there is more input on this thought.THX1136 (talk) 15:29, 6 August 2013 (UTC)

Since there was no further input on this subject I did the edit and removed the first paragraph until proper citations could be produced. If this is in error - or not the best approach - feel free to revert.THX1136 (talk) 15:55, 14 October 2015 (UTC)

Sentence removal from "Early" section

I removed the following sentence as it seemed to not fit - or there seemed to be no real need for the info. "The group began performing vocal hits such as "Sherry" by the Four Seasons."

"Soft Southern Rock" ????

I don't understand how the Classics IV can be described as establishing a "soft southern rock" sound when they were known then (and now) as blue-eyed soul. Their songs were among the few white groups back in the late 60's played on black radio stations because of their soulful sound -- thanks to Dennis Yost -- and there is nothing "southern" about the way they sound.

Also, "Sunny" was completely left out of the Wikipedia page. Doesn't anyone remember their terrific cover of the Bobby Hebb song? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lisa kristin1 (talk • contribs) 15:52, 20 September 2017 (UTC)
