Royal Mail (?Post Office) ads

These characters-- not named as such--- appeared in a series of post office ads in the eighties and nineties. I am not sure they were played by Les and Roy though I imagine so [for if not i imagine there would have been a lawyer!] This is very vague I know. If you think it worth trying to find more, I will rootle around.

^ (relpying to Simon Trew) It's been a long time but weren't the RM/Post Ofice adverts animated versions of the women gossiping over a fence? No idea all these decade later if Les & Roy did the voices or if was just inspired by the tv characters.
