Move edit

Hi A poor son of Adam, I'm very pleased to see you're still here on Wikipedia. I saw that you moved this article from "Circassian nationalism" to "Circassian activism" without an edit summary [1]. The article still talks a lot about nationalism and there's no other similarly titled page on Wikipedia, so I was wondering if this move was appropriate. "Circassian activism" seems to be an used term [2] but "Circassian nationalism" is more frequent [3], so per WP:COMMONNAME we would keep the latter as the title. Do you think we could move back this article but including "Circassian activism" in bold at the opening sentence? Or maybe there's other rationale for this that I'm not aware of. I see that nationalism is generally associated with negative feelings such as racism or seeing one's nation as higher than others. However, in the Circassian case it differs, it is more about preserving the culture and homeland. The motive behind it was to make that clear. If you feel that it is more appropiate to move it back, please go ahead. A poor son of Adam (talk) 22:20, 9 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Well, the lead already defines the topic of this article as the desire among Circassians to preserve their culture, language, etc.. If someone gives this movement another motivation, that's on them, not on Wikipedia. I've moved it back. Super Ψ Dro 10:55, 10 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Not everyone will read "chauvinism" into "nationalism", especially when actually reading the article, so I agree we should simply follow common usage to describe this topic. –Austronesier (talk) 11:01, 10 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
