Blood:TLV mythos
editThis is CountessMorgana from the WRex and RandomCuriosity discussion boards. If nobody minds, I'd like to put in information about the Chiroptera from the OVA and subsequent works (pre-anime). The history given there has a superficial resemblance to the anime, but in the end the two are vastly different. -- 74.12.127.207 23:17, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
- Great wealth of info but I'm a bit concenred that its a bit too technical for an encyclopedic entry. Separate articles might be needed down the road but I'm not gonna do any splits until somebody else raises this concern. I'm also going to add a spoiler tag. --Chicbicyclist 04:20, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
- I knew I was forgetting to add something, couldn't remember what... If there need to be edits to tone it down I'll be happy to work on that! Thank you Chicbicyclist! - 74.12.126.129 14:33, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
Chiroptera/Chevalier
editI'm not sure that it is made clear what exactly the difference is. Are they the same thing? Does the anime ever tell?74.140.118.84 05:33, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Hmmm.... I guess this is really late (about five months), but here goes: the difference between a Chevalier and a Chiroptera is that the latter is a blanket term referring to all creatures who require blood for sustenance (i.e. Saya, Diva, Haji, Schiff, Anshel, Solomon, etc). However, Chevalier are created by drinking the blood of one the queens which, subsequently, develops a slavish devotion to them, though it's not impossible to "overcome their blood" as is in the case of Solomon. Anywho, Chevalier are able to retain their human characteristics after becoming Chiroptera while Chiroptereans are born from by being exposed to Delta 67, a substance made from Diva's blood. Saya and Diva's blood is special because it has a certain reaction when it is "fresh" thereby allowing either of them to create Chevalier or in Saya's case kill Chiroptera.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go rot my brain with some more useless anime logic. ^_^
Article name
editShouldn't the name of this article be "Chiroptera (Blood+)" since it is about something only found in Blood+? --Eruhildo 17:35, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
Chevaliers spelling
editIsn't the plural of chevalier just chevalier? I don't know French so I can't be certain, but I thought it is. --Eruhildo 00:49, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
