I am horrified at the pidgin English that infests English-language writings on Latin American ethnology. I found the wikipedia article on the Chiapas Media Project written in a dense ethnographic jargon overloaded with barely disguised Spanish words. It sounded like Esperanto. I cleaned it up using the following key:

MEXICAN SPANISH MEXICOID ENGLISH REAL ENGLISH Comunidad indígena Indigenous community Native village/tribe Autónomo Autonomous Self-governing Agrícola Agricultural Farming
