Borges and Chess

edit

Borges seems to have at least a couple references to chess, particularly in ARTIFICES. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.140.195.53 (talk) 08:12, 18 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Don't know what to title this but...

edit

In my opinion, this article needs a revamp. This article should not be a list of every cultural reference to chess ever. Rather it should be reserved only for works where chess is a theme, or used as a metaphor for something else (as in Bladerunner or A Matter of Life and Death). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.27.55.220 (talk) 13:34, 2 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Images needed

edit

This article has a good selection of reference imagery, however, the sections on chess in film and television would benefit from screenshots of the films and programmes cited. I tried to create some of these, but sadly, the images I uploaded were deleted (without much constructive discussion or review, alas). Any help from someone with greater knowledge of how to navigate the minefield of image rights would be appreciated. Cheers, Cl3phact0 (talk) 10:46, 21 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
