I was trying to add additional page "Certina Companies" because two companies exist using same name: German Certina Holding AG and Swiss Certina]] S.A.:

Certina Holding as Certina Holding and Certina S.A.

The administrative answer was the following:

This isn't needed. Certina has a hatnote leading to Certina Holding. If you think that Certina (watch brand) should be moved to a different location, so that Certina is a disambiguation page, please start a discussion at Talk:Certina.

Thus I start this discussion and propose the following:

1. Move Certina S.A. from Certina to Certina S.A.

2. Create new Certina Page explaining that (at least) two relevant companies exist carrying "Certina".

Btw: I am addressing same issue that has already been addressed by Dr-Walter-Mueller below eleven! years ago (but nothing happened).

So I hope that starting this discussion will have an effect (at least a reaction or an answer).

Swatch Group

Due to the fact that there are two companies called Certina (Certina Holding AG in Germany and Certina Kurt Freres S.A. in Switzerland) there is risk of confusion. Certina Holding can be found under "Certina Holding". Therefore Certina Kurt Freres S.A. should be moved to "Certina Kurt Freres" I think.... --Dr-Walter-Mueller (talk) 11:35, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

There is nothing here in the company history about the acquisition by the Swatch group. Can someone add that? RickH86 (talk) 09:14, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Style and grammar

Can somebody please translate this for me: "Certina did not begin producing complete watches and timepieces for a few years which they then did alongside their work producing movements for other companies."
