Image copyright problem with Image:Galadriel.jpg edit
The image Image:Galadriel.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. I don't think the bit about the spelling differences in various editions of LOTR is correct. In my old Ballantine paperback and in my second edition hardcover it's spelled "Caras Galadon". I don't know when the spelling change happened, though. I'll have to look into it... JBHemlock (talk) 17:56, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

The section 'Architecture' states "every space available had to be used". Is anyone aware of the basis for this? I thought the Elves merely preferred to live in the trees.
The section also states that Caras Galadhon was "lit by green flames". Although the city "climb[ed] up like a green cloud" (which I had assumed referred to the foliage), it was described in LotR as lit by "lights ... [like] stars ... lamps ... silver lamps". BTW I propose to add ladders to the stairs.
Finally it's stated that construction occurred "inside" trees. I think this should read "in": "inside" a tree is what happened to Merry & Pippin. Cheers 111.220.230.229 (talk) 05:21, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
