This page says that cannabis is legal for recreational use, but then it says enforcement involves fines for possession. Is it legal or not? All websites seem to suggest that it is still illegal in Ireland. Why does this Wiki start by stating that it's legal?
The topic is fairly well covered (and up to date) on these three pages:
'Ireland is behind the times', also The Journal, but written after the 2016 general election, so maybe a better guide as to what the current government might or might not do.
This was added as a completely uncited claim by an unregistered user, and as such has been reverted. It is currently illegal for recreational use in Ireland. Thanks for pointing this out. Helper201 (talk) 20:57, 18 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
