Speedy deletion

I am not the original author of this article but will assist in rewriting to remove all copyright violations. The subject itself is noteworthy because the community is part of the world wide Camphill movement. --EPadmirateur (talk) 03:27, 15 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I am the original author of this article and will work to rewrite this article to avoid any copyright violations. The subject is noteworthy and I will work to make the language more my own even though I gave the source for copyrighted material concerning this community and material. --Theosopher7 (talk) 13:14, 16 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi Theosopher7, this article has already been rewritten, so no further work is needed. Wikipedia is very particular about copyright violations. If they detect that an article has portions that have been copied from another source (they have tools to do that), they will almost immediately delete the article. They will give a little warning but perhaps only 1/2 hour. And giving the source is not good enough. The best way to write a new article is to get one or several good sources and rewrite the material in your own words. Usually it's best to summarize the material rather than give all the details, since this is an encyclopedia. Change the order of ideas presented, etc. Include references to the sources -- they need to be reliable sources. Then link to the main original sources in the External links section to provide further reading.
The articles you choose to add need to be notable according to the WP guidelines. In general if there is an article present in another language Wikipedia (like German, Dutch or Italian), then an English article will also pass the notability test. It's OK to simply translate (and perhaps summarize) the other article.
I appreciate the work you are doing to expand the articles on anthroposophy. Your anthroposophists template has turned out very well. Cheers, EPadmirateur (talk) 13:46, 16 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
