Ship displacement edit
I changed the ship displacement from 7400 to 1300. I admit the source puts it at 7400 tons, but others put it at 1300 tons. A ship of 7400 tons, even for the size of Caligula, would be way too much for a wooden ship. It might be possible if Caligula's ship was a steamboat made of steel, but by looking at the archeological remains it's all wood so far. [Gnip|Gnip] January 2, 2007 10:59PM
- And someone changed it back. I'll try to find something more definitive.Doug Weller (talk) 13:01, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
The image associated to Caligula's ship also appears in the Syracusia ship article edit
Is this really associated to Caligula? this looks exactly the same as the Syracusia ship from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syracusia#/media/File:The_Syracusia.png (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syracusia) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:1650:C10:A066:CB28:ADBE:AD9B (talk) 20:03, 18 April 2021 (UTC)
