I am reading from a Finnish Car Magazine "Tekniikan maailma" (edition 8/2018, page 71 article about the development of electric starts in automobiles) that this story of linking the death of Carter to the development of electric starting motor is a bit ...fiction. Or at least there was no mentioning of this connection for about 50 years later. So is there any other evidence linking these two happenings (and years in between!) together? If not, then maybe this story should maybe be omitted.
