Fair use rationale for Image:Bryancave logo.JPG

edit

Image:Bryancave logo.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Neutralization

edit

The article appeared to be written by some affiliate of The Cave, so with 30 years experience dealing with BC and its huge staff as an adversary and as a St. Louis area lawyer, I thought it worth the time to neutralize the pro-Bryan Cave tone of the article and make it more matter of fact. Further neutralization is needed; it appears as if someone close to the firm revamped everything to marketing materials found on their website. An attempt to neutralize these materials has occured but more needs to be done. Noteworthy was the presumably marketing-based revamp had many points that contradicted other points in the narrative (22 vs 25 vs 26 vs 27 locations; BCIC vs BCIT etc) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 156.47.15.10 (talk) 17:31, 9 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Name of Page

edit

Should the name of the page not be Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner?

I have updated this because you are correct. But there seems to be many redirects bouncing about the place. Not sure how to manage/correct? BekdacheMA (talk) 10:37, 30 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Prominent eployee: Kevin Mitnick?

edit

This week I've been listening again to the audio book «Ghost in the Wires» by Kevin Mitnick. I was reading it again because of the news that he had died a few weeks ago. In one of the chapters he describes being on the run in Denver. For about a year he was employed by this firm, when the firm operated under the name «Holme, Roberts and Owen».

My question is, Would this be something relevant for adding a note about in this article? Solbu (talk) 23:16, 24 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
