Mind explaining the move? This source and this source and this source and this source and this source and this source and this source and this source and this source to name a few of the 5700+ google hits say Bruce Botelho as it was before you moved the article. The other way gives you 92 google hits. Where he is currently mayor even has it as Botelho and I would hope they would get it correct. Aboutmovies (talk) 20:23, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Sorry I didnt leave a message here. I moved the article in response to an OTRS ticket raised by a local news reporter, but didnt replace all occurrences of the prior name because I wasnt 100% satisfied. Your last link is very convincing. The sources that use Bothelo are also authoritative, and more can be found using the search Bothelo+juneau. Birthplace

Once again dredging up an old discussion. I came across various 1940s-era references to an Emmett Botelho in Juneau and kept wondering about the relationship. This time, for once, the web came to the rescue when print sources didn't. One of the organizations I'm affiliated with encouraged me to edit my bio on Wikipedia. I made the changes and included an extensive list of sources (which I thought complied with the required protocols). These I completed yesterday, only to discover that they had been deleted again this morning (this was my second attempt). 1. Review WP:COI.
2. Donate a photo.
3. Step back and let someone else go through that material. That probably means me, since I don't believe too many other people have access to much of it. I mean, the Southeastern Log? While I'm at it, in one of the journals published by the Alaska Conference of the United Methodist Church of their annual meetings, this particular one from the early 1970s, there was a mention of a conference attendee and aspiring clergyman named Bruce Botelho.
