I didn't remove the information that you put in the history section of the article, but it was probably taken out because it was not referenced. When you include negative information about an individual or a group of people it is important that it is properly referenced. See WP:V for more information. As for removing Danny Coles from the players section, he has not played for both sides in a Bristol derby, only City. He moved to Rovers since the last time the sides met. — Gasheadsteve ^{Talk to me} 07:14, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Edit request: 4 September 2012

This article is regularly being edited by un-registered users who edit it to reflect the most recent result "Bristol City 3-0 Bristol Rovers (4 August 2012)". This match was a pre-season friendly and therefore shouldn't be included as the match was not a competitive fixture. It has also been edited a number of times to include players who have merely played for both clubs despite the article clearly saying "A number of players have played for both Rovers and City in Bristol derbies". A recent example was the inclusion of David Clarkson who played for Bristol Rovers in the above mentioned friendly but has never played for Bristol City against Rovers, friendly or otherwise.
