Goofs section: Protestants don't go to church on Sunday?

Protestants go to church on Sunday to, and Episcopals (which Lois's WASPy parents probably are) among others have real wine at Communion -Madison 71.12.191.90 20:45, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean? Protestants and Catholics are both Christians -- same bible, same lord/savior, same holy day (Sunday). And as far as I know, all Christian churches (Catholic, Protestant, or otherwise) use wine for the transubstantiation part of Holy Communion -- unless they cannot afford to, or the specific pastor or congregation chooses to use some substitute liquid (typically fruit juice). And I'm still trying to see how this all bears relevance to this Family Guy episode? Piercetheorganist 02:54, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

I'm not entirely sure what Madison's original point was either, but traditionally Catholic parishioners are not given the wine, because they are taught that the wine actually turns to blood and to preserve this, for lack of a better term, illusion, only the priest may drink the wine. Most Protestants eschew this practice, treating the wafers and wine as symbols of the body and blood, and allow their parishioners to drink the wine. No. The Orgasmic Cow is a recurring minor character on Family Guy, always making references to homosexuality (via characteristic stereotypical behaviors and speech), and usually to S&M (i.e. the getting milked thing in this episode, and getting branded with a hot iron in another episode, etc.). Plot Summary

According to tv.yahoo.com as of today, this episode will air next Sunday, and gives the following plot summary:

"The family heads to church when Lois gets a gig as the organist, but after Stewie gets sick, the congregation is convinced he is possessed by the devil. Therefore, the family goes on the run and ends up in Texas. Peter fits right in with the cowboys, Stewie enters the "Little Miss Texas" pageant and Chris and Meg sneak into George W. Bush's house."

This seems to imply that they will specifically go to Crawford, Texas. Of course we will show restraint and wait until the episode airs before adding any of this to the article. ShutterBugTrekker 21:39, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Can anyone tell me what the part where they interview the one guy about his feelings on the Super Devil and such and he says something along the lines of: "I was totally going to bone my girlfriend and then...and she was like there is no WHEY (thats what it sounds like when he says it). yeah; i was curious as well. its a bloody peculiar accent he has- where is it from or supposed to be from? (given that he's a local man, perhaps thats what rhode islanders sound like, but not being from the US i have no idea)

Sneakers O'Toole

Shouldn't there be a mention of Sneakers O'Toole? There's an article for him which redirects to this article. He gets 83,000 hits on Google, largely it seems from people trying to find out what the scene is a reference to and what it means. After detailed and pointless research, it seems the answers to both are "nothing". If I could find a decent reference for this I'd add it, but I can't. 87.80.97.137 (talk) 11:38, 22 May 2010 (UTC)

HUH?!

Is it just me, or does this line make no sense?

The line makes sense if you take out the "his" and add an "s" towards the end. I.e, "The episode was written by Cherry Chevapravatdumrong and was directed by Brian Iles, in each of their respective first episodes for the series."

Meaning that the show was the first to be written by Chevapravatdumrong and the first to be directed by Iles in the 5th season. Jmsfruitison (talk) 16:21, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

The guest stars part in the infobox is not fully complete, nor are the references fully made out. Reference 4 is also not correct, as you can probably see. Also, just wondering, but how does the image reflect the whole episode?
