This comes back a bad link. TREKphiler hit me ♠ 05:43, 2 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Not necessarly so...

edit

A review of the site in 2017 found it to be 24,000 years old,[6] lending support to the "Beringian standstill" hypothesis - that the ancestors of Native Americans spent considerable time isolated in a Beringian refuge during the Last Glacial Maximum before populating the Americas.[7]

Or maybe, they were simply spread as pre-Clovis. The Clovis first theory is largely dismissed today. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.11.0.22 (talk) 00:54, 4 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Coordinate error

edit

{{geodata-check}}

The following coordinate fixes are needed for Bluefish Caves, YT, Canada

The coordinates are incorrect. Should be 67°09'N 140°45'W (https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0169486) 50.117.148.253 (talk) 18:02, 15 October 2020 (UTC)Marty MossopReply

  Done. I'm somewhat reluctant to change the coordinates to just degrees and minutes, as that seems too imprecise for so small a feature; but your suggestion is backed up by the source you've cited (whereas the coordinates previously in the article were taken from the German Wikipedia, where they're uncited), and these coordinates are more consistent with the description "located 54 km southwest of the village of Old Crow" found in ref. 5 in the article. It would be helpful if someone could come up with a source for more-precise coordinates. Deor (talk) 18:46, 15 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
