This page is called "Black-Eyed Susan". There is a disambiguation page called "Black-eyed Susan". This page gives a redirection to one flower reference. The disambiguation page gives redirections to a number of flowers, plays, pieces of music, etc.
I propose that this page be renamed "Black-eyed Susan (All in the downs)", or "Black-eyed Susan (theatre play)". -- TheAMmollusc (talk) 11:10, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
- I disagree. I think the work is correctly named. According to WP:NAME, the article name should be the name "that readers are most likely to look for in order to find the article". Also, your suggestion is not the way plays are named in Wikipedia in any case. Also, the E is definitely an upper-case E for the play. -- Ssilvers (talk) 14:30, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
- OK, thanks, points noted. Meanwhile, another question: I assume that it is no coincidence that the play not only has the same title, but the same sub-title as the popular song, of a century earlier, by Gay and Leveridge. - I imagine that there is a connection, but I did not see it in the research I did. If you want to dig into the question, by all means!
