Plot edit

Plot not expanded. FULL PLOT DOWN HERE!!! :

Sugan Karthi is a happy-go-lucky bachelor who enjoys a fantastic life with his family and friends, especially hanging out with girls during parties, spending time with his buddy Parasu Ram Premgi Amaren and his gorgeous girlfriend Priyanka Hansika Motwani. At the start, Sugan holds a bachelor party with his friends and when one of his girlfriends starts to drag him into the toilet and hug him, Priyanka, upon witnessing this, is shocked to see him do such a thing happening and starts to break up with him. Parasu Ram then gets a chance to be Priyanka’s boyfriend. Sugan and Parasu Ram work at an automobile showroom, whereby Sugan’s uncle Subbu is the manager of the showroom. At the showroom, preparations were going on for a grand occasion – welcoming Mr. Varadharajan Nassar, a rich businessman who is being suspected by the police for running illegal business. During the preparations, Subbu brings along 3 models, which the duo get attracted to and Sugan meets them and stores their numbers to keep in touch. He finalizes that the first model, Sridevi, would be his dream girl. On the actual day of the occasion, Priyanka, who works as a news reporter for ONAM TV network, also turns up to interview with Varadharajan. Realizing that she misplaced her questionnaire that contained all the questions she had to ask Varadharajan, Sugan takes the initiative to take up her position and interviews with Varadharajan instead. Furious at Sugan, Priyanka asks Parasu Ram to break up his friendships with Sugan. Parasu then brings Priyanka to a spot where Sugan and Sridevi are to prove that their friendship has ended. However, Sugan denies engaging with Sridevi as she wants to be with Priyanka. Priyanka, upon hearing that, starts his engagement with Sugan again. Sugan’s boss invites him to his cocktail party, whereby Varadharajan will also be there. After the cocktail party, Sugan decides to eat his favorite dish – biriyani. He searches along the street for a stall selling biriyani. Finally, he comes across a stall called ‘Famous Biriyani’ and eats a bowl of chicken biriyani. While eating, he comes across a beautiful prostitute, Maya Mandy Takhar. When they leave, Maya requests Sugan whether he could drop her at her house. Sugan accepts it and drops her. Maya invites them into her house for a short while. The door knocks and they are surprised to see that Varadharajan is a friend of Maya. Not wanting Sugan and Parasu Ram to see this, Maya asks them to hide in a room. In the room, they start to consume alcohol and in a drunken state, they start to sleep. The next day, Sugan wakes up in a car without Parasu Ram by his side. He approaches the hotel room he was at last night and discovers that the room is in a devastating mess. Maya and Varadharajan are found missing in the room. The police then gets news that Varadharajan, whom they were supposed to arrest, is missing. The cops start to arrest Sugan and Parasu Ram, assuming that they kidnapped Varadharajan. Sugan and Parasu Ram then start to run away from the police and bring their car to a grassland. When they get off the car, they noticed part of a tie sticking out of the car trunk. They open the trunk and they are shocked to see that Varadharajan has been killed. Not knowing how Varadharajan had been murdered, they think of ways to escape from the police and just then, the police arrive and they get involved in a car chase, which was brought up at the start. Soon, news of Sugan and Parasu Ram kidnapping Varadharajan were spread throughout the whole town through posters and television broadcasts. Priyanka, Sugan’s dad and friends were really shocked to hear such news. They start to console him and Sugan starts to search for Maya, who would know the reason for all this. Parasu Ram then sends a picture of Maya to Sugan’s friends and asks them to notify Sugan if they notice her. At the Chennai Egmore railway station, one of Sugan’s friends notices Maya and starts to follow her. At the same time, a hitwoman dressed as a police officer, hired to kill Maya, also follows her until she is disturbed by a dance group dancing to the tune of the song ‘Vilayattu Mankatha’ from the director’s previous film, Mankatha to celebrate actor Ajith Kumar’s birthday. Then, Sugan, who was informed that Maya was in the railway station, rushes down to the railway station, catches Maya red-handed and asks her who had killed Varadharajan. Maya answered that a police officer had killed her but she did’nt give Sugan the full details. The hitwoman gets into a fight with Sugan and eventually, she kills Maya by pushing her down from the train platform to the railway track and getting herself killed by a moving train. Upon seeing the dreadful scene, Sugan starts to chase after the hitwoman whereby she drops her phone. When he brings the phone back, he discovers that the phone has no SIM card, but has a memory card. He transfers the data and looks through the photographs and is shocked to see that his sister, who is about to get married, is the next target of the hitwoman. A group of rowdies and the hitwoman kidnap Sugan’s sister. He then receives a call and together with his friends, they go and rescue Sugan’s sister. Later, when a memorial of Varadharajan was launched, Sugan’s girlfriend (the girl who hugged Sugan at the bachelor party before Priyanka broke up with him), tells him that Police Inspector Vikram was the killer and Sugan gets him trapped and Vikram tells him how they got such into a dire predicament and he explained the cause for Varadharajan’s murder – to get money. The movie ends with a fight and getting Vikram arrested.
