Some words to the edit of 06:07, July 3, 2008 74.248.71.201. "lots of ads and no content"

"... no contet." - It's correct that the content of this movie gallery-website is basically confined to his filmography and thus, showing his appearances on screen and TV as far as availlable on DVD/VHS. In the meantime I could purchase all of his movies, in which he played any role. Concerning his TV-appearances it's far more difficult to find them among the appropriate series-sets, offered by some online-sellers - if they still exist at all. The intention of this website was/is to create a reliable internet presence on him, more than the known kind of Standards with just some meaningless images and copied texts - but unfortunately there's in fact scarcely nothing significantly on Billy Chapin published or availlable - by whatever reason. He apparently simply dropped out into a normal life after his acting career had ended in 1959/60 - and the passages on him in his sister's biography are 1. too private and sensitive to use them in that public way, Wikipedia is created for, and 2. - blocked by her own copyright, anyway. Although he obviously had similar poblems with alcohol and drugs like his sister, it might have been not that heavy than hers. Today he seems to be not very keen on any new publicity, tailored on his former celebrity status, although, within the past decade, he apparently had joined a few conventions and celeb-events on special occasions. In his sister's biography the last, but biographically negligible mention is at about 1978/79, concerning the death of her beloved grandmother.

"Lots of ads ..." - Since this gallery-website is created on a "free" server, until I haven't at least a meaningful and/or more detailed biography, I don't intend to invest any money to free it from advertising, like I did it with my Tribute website on Bobby Driscoll. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bylot (talkcontribs) 11:00, 6 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

addendum:
That's why I resist the verbal belitteling of especially "... no content."
I'm certain that, even if it's not very much, it's presently all, publicly available on him, and/but definitely more than any online mentioning of him ever before.

A final remark edit

Removed : "In 1999 he appeared as a music performer with The Backstreet Boys on their Concert in Orlando, Florida. [1]"

The Billy Chapin who played guitar and wrote songs with the backstreet Boys is a different guy. Here's his MySpace page : http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=70766373 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.27.236.241 (talk) 02:21, 3 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
