• I could have sworn that it was mentioned that the pair have divorced or are at least separated. In one strip Nate made a remark about his mother leaving while he was very young and him not seeing her at all since then. (Leaving as in his parents are no longer together as a couple at all, not even a long distance relationship.) I believe that she lives somewhere on the opposite side of the United States, if I'm not mistaken. It's in one of the comic book compilation sets that are out there. I've noticed something: People keep saying the titles of the books beyond Big Nate In the Zone. Article Cleanup

I'm starting to clean up this page, as it had far too much superfluous detail to be considered a respectable encyclopaedic article. I've started with the character section. I took the majority of the characters and the "Nate's Comic Creations" section and I put them in a new page, called List of Big Nate characters. I'm going to continue to improve it. I've often been able to tell what some people's sexualtity or gender just by looking at them...

Miss Clarke isn't married, probably because she likes women but doesn't know how to approach them romantically and/or to tell if they like her too...🏳️‍🌈
