No definitive source says Gian Galeazzo executed Bernabò edit
I know of no source the definitively writes that Gian Galeazzo executed Bernabò. Most sources say that he died in captivity with cause unknown, with speculation that his death was either natural or by poison. Peaceray (talk) 16:23, 4 February 2015 (UTC)
form of name in article title edit
Hello all- Anyone know why we give the subject's name as "Bianca of Savoy"? The mixture of Italian and English strikes me as odd. I would suggest we rename the article to either "Blanche de Savoie" or "Bianca di Savoia". Google Books searches on these strings yield 15,000 and 14,000 hits, respectively, while "Bianca of Savoy" yields 298.
Another note: The French and Italian wp articles give her birthplace as Chambéry, not Pavia. They disagree with each other and en.wp regarding the birth year. Eric talk 15:21, 16 June 2016 (UTC)
- Well, this is English Wikipedia, not the French or Italian version, so an Anglicization of the title makes sense. However, a redirect from Blanche de Savoie & Bianca di Savoia makes sense, & I have added them. Peaceray (talk) 20:13, 24 June 2016 (UTC)
- Besides, the original was probably either the Lombard language or the Occitan language, not Italian or French. Peaceray (talk) 20:28, 24 June 2016 (UTC)
