Why accuracy is important edit

This article is an example of why accuracy and reference-checking is so important. A recent news article written by an non-expert on dams clearly copied incorrect information on this dam.^[1] The dam may have once been a soil dam, but recent photos clearly indicate that the structure incorporates masonry and concrete.
