Contested deletion
editThis page is not unambiguously promotional, because this song will be coming out soon. Plus it already redirects to One Direction's page, so when we have more information we can add it here. Billboard Man (talk) 01:36, 11 July 2013 (UTC)

- It is a real song. However, given that this redirect could be seen as misleading, I've redirected this to List of songs considered the best, as that would be a more appropriate redirect. What I'm going to do is create a new redirect by the name Best Song Ever (song) that will redirect to the One Direction article. That way it's clearly labeled as a song and hopefully will decrease misunderstandings over the title. Once the song releases and gets coverage to where it can have its own article, we can put a hatnote at the top of the LOSCTB article saying "Best Song Ever redirects here, for the single, see..." - Eventually though, the song will become notable and I think the correct article title would be this one. Then I would suggest adding a hatnote to the article pointing to List of songs considered the best, rather than having that title redirect here with a hatnote for a disambiguation song title. However, for now, I think it's fine. I don't even think the disambiguated redirect needs to be created, just add a hatnote saying "For the One Direction song, see One Direction" (probably with an anchor to the most appropriate section in that article. If the album gets an article first, then redirect the song to the album, or change the hatnote to the album.
