birthday edit
I'm uncertain about the year of his birth as listed here. His New York Times obituary states that he was 77 at the time of his death (June 4, 1993). The Wikipedia entry listed his age as 71 and his birth year as 1922. However, if his age as listed in the NYT obituary was correct, he must have been born earlier.
