editMy classmates Pharmatranst, Hienucsf, and Tcisow2 will be working on this page over the course of the next two weeks. We will be editing the Mechanism of Action, Adverse Effects, Interactions, Medical Uses sections. Angelpan55 (talk) 20:45, 3 November 2016 (UTC)
We have divided up the work where Angelpan55 will be working on the 3 paragraph lead, adding detail about what the drug is, what it is used for, and what is its place in therapy. Hienucsf will expand on the side effects and drug-drug interactions. Pharmatranst will go over the mechanism of action and PD/PK information. I will elaborate on the history of its use, relevant trends, and special populations. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tcisow2 (talk • contribs) 17:46, 4 November 2016 (UTC)
- I have created a pharmacology section for the page with mechanism of action and pharmacokinetics subheadings, as well as an interactions heading. These changes are live on the page. Pharmatranst (talk) 00:53, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
Overall, the page is well written and neutrally discusses the drug. The structure of the article follows the wiki manual of style, including things that are relevant and leaving out unimportant things. In the medical uses section, the grammar was funny or very wordy, cleaned it up a little. Huntbryanm (talk) 06:15, 15 November 2016 (UTC)
Question 2: Most points included are verifiable with citations that are freely accessible secondary sources. A few points are cited with secondary sources that aren’t accessible without UCSF vpn. They are as follows:
- Hm, when I looked and still when I look at the piece by David Edwards, I see that the pdf is freely available online. I don't know that the doi link that wikipedia automatically embeds might be the issue at stake, here, but I would assume that the free availability of the pdf would allow anybody looking for this source to be able to find it, no? I wonder if there is a way to cause the link to redirect to a freely accessible version to anybody? Pharmatranst (talk) 20:34, 15 November 2016 (UTC)
Question 3: Most of the cites seem to be coincide with Wiki's guide to citations, except a few, such as #8, which just lists the site (http://endtheneglect.org/2012/03/treatment-for-chagas-enter-supplier-number-two/) that it was retrieved from. Other than that, the citations look good. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jennatlam (talk • contribs) 20:13, 15 November 2016 (UTC)
Question 4: Is there any evidence of plagiarism or copyright violation? No, the editors of the page used their own words. Ellenyunac (talk) 00:18, 17 November 2016 (UTC)
