Bengal Volunteers or Congress Volunteer Corps?

Can someone please verify if Bengal Volunteers is the same as Congress Volunteer Corps. If not, there may be a serious issue with the title of this article.Soham "Samrat" Banerjee (talk) 18:32, 4 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

There definitely seems to be some issues with the references. E.g. the first citation is Srilata Chatterjee's [Politics in Bengal], which refers to Bengal volunteers of the Congress Party (see pg. 147) and not a separate force titled "Bengal Volunteers". The cited pages (130-132) do not, in my view, support the claim being made. - Naushervan (talk) 16:46, 21 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
